Hacienda Napoles is a magical destination in Colombia to experience an authentic African safari. This theme park has been listed as one of the 10 most exotic parks in the world. Hacienda Napoles is located in Puerto Truiunfo Antioquia, three and a half hours from Medellín and four hours from Bogotá. This theme park has an extraordinary fauna and flora sanctuary, four water parks for adults and children and five hotels, two of them inside the park.
From the highway entrance to the park access point it is three or four kilometers, about fifteen minutes by car.
We recommend you to visit this great African savanna and its surroundings, this park is huge and the heat in Puerto Triunfo is similar to the African heat. Here you find the most representative animals of Africa, they have been rescued in difficult conditions of abuse and some cruel cases, now they live here in spaces similar to their original habitats where they have a second chance to live with dignity. In Hacienda Napoles there is the largest herd of pink hippos that lives outside of Africa and in the wild. You will come across a rhinoceros, zebras, elephants, tigers and lions and birds on the way.
