Medellin Tourism

Today we want to introduce you to our city Medellín and its surroundings. Here’s a quick list of icon sites you should visit.

Medellín is one of the most frequented destinations and we could say that it is the one most asked by tourists.

Botero Square. It is a public open-air museum with the voluminous sculptures of Fernando Botero in the heart of Medellín. Next to this square is also the Museum of Antioquia, to get here by Metro, you must get off at Parque Berrío Station.

Graffitti Tour de la Comuna 13 has made a name for itself in recent years. It is a tour of one of the communes historically hardest hit by violence. Today, with his artistic expressions, he does not teach what it means to transform history. If you want to know how to do this tour contact us -> Click Here.

The Botanical Garden of Medellín is considered one of the most beautiful living museums of flora and fauna. It is also usually approved as a picnic area, although it is not allowed to light bonfires. Admission is free and there is parking service. If you want to get there by Metro, your stop is the Universidad Station.

The Explora Park with its aquarium is for us the best interactive science and technology park in Colombia. It is also a living laboratory for species research and coral survival. It is a neighbor to the Botanical Garden.

Coming to Medellín and not going through Pueblito Paisa is like not having been in this beautiful city. El Pueblito Paisa is a typical replica of the squares and houses of the Antioquia department. It is located on Cerro Nutibara and has a great view of the city. Here you find crafts, food and a museum. This place is a public viewpoint, so the entrance is free, it has a parking service, although if you don’t have a vehicle and you like to walk, you can walk from El Metro – Estación Industriales.
